The Spark - and Sparkle - of Inspiration

NEW CASTLE, Pa., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Michele Conti, owner and founder of the Inspiretees(TM) line of women's apparel, has been enjoying quite a bit of success since Inspiretees.com was launched last December. The site offers "The Verses Collection," a series of shirts that she designed, each of which features the word, Love, Joy, Peace, Hope, Respect, or Truth, spelled out prominently across the front, in Swarovski crystals, Rhinestones, Rhinestuds and short, complementary Bible verses written in smaller letters along the hemline.

An accomplished seamstress who spent several years working fashion trade shows and show rooms in New York City's renowned garment district, receiving many awards in tailoring, Conti had always wanted to design her own line of women's apparel.

"My dream was to create an elegant, yet hip, line of inspirational Christian apparel that would spread the word in style, but I wasn't sure how it would materialize," says Conti. "Then, one day, as I sat in church listening to the pastor, he referred to (John 13:34), which is the well-known verse about love, and inspiration struck. As soon as I got home, I drew my first Inspiretees(TM) top!"

Last year, she asked a friend from her church to host a party to sell the shirts. Before long, she had a great number of people wanting to host Inspiretees(TM) home Tee Parties, which now account for a large percentage of her sales. "I started out just wanting to spread the word," she says, "but now I find that we are able to spread success as well. Through our Inspiration Consultant Program, people can become representatives of Inspiretees, selling these beautiful shirts at home Tee Parties for consumers seeking inspirational and Christian women's apparel. For a small investment they have their own businesses, with freedom and flexibility; but we also consider them our partners, and we provide them all of the support and materials they need to succeed."
